Pipe, wrench, and bottle
Four tools are achievement constraints: the iron pipe, the wrench, Lavendoleum, and the silver bottle. Their requests are gathered here. No damage numbers are known.
| Achievement | Request | Unlock |
|---|---|---|
| Classics Never Die | Pickup the iron pipe | 36% |
| Wrench Queen | Complete the game using only the wrench | 0.2% |
| Iron and wax | Defeat Obscuratus using only the wrench | 10.8% |
| Exhaust Pipe | Defeat Fumus using only the pipe | 1.8% |
| One More For The Road | Drink Lavendoleum while having full health | 9.4% |
| Have You Chosen... Wisely? | Fill the silver bottle by removing 3 save points | 20.4% |
Iron pipe and wrench
Classics Never Die is awarded for picking up the iron pipe. The description is “Pickup the iron pipe.” The global unlock is 36%, the highest percent in the set, which fits a tool you are expected to take during a normal run.
Wrench Queen is a full clear using only the wrench, at 0.2%. That is the rarest percent in the set. Iron and wax is narrower: defeat Obscuratus using only the wrench, at 10.8%. The full-game wrench run and the single Obscuratus wrench fight are different achievements. Doing the boss fight with the wrench does not, by itself, complete the full run.
Exhaust Pipe is defeat Fumus using only the pipe, at 1.8%. The pipe-only Fumus fight is not the same request as picking the pipe up. One is Classics Never Die. The other is the Fumus constraint. Obscuratus and Fumus each have a creature page that repeats the weapon limit next to the name.
Lavendoleum and the silver bottle
One More For The Road is drink Lavendoleum while you have full health. The unlock is 9.4%. Where the drink is found, and what else it does, are not known. Have You Chosen... Wisely? is fill the silver bottle by removing 3 save points, at 20.4%. The description counts the save points and does not name their locations.
If you are routing a wrench-only clear, start from Wrench Queen and treat Iron and wax as the Obscuratus check inside that idea, not as a substitute. If you are routing the pipe, separate the pickup from the Fumus fight. The bottle and Lavendoleum do not mention the pipe or the wrench, so they can be tracked on their own rows.
The achievement list sorts these six rows by unlock rate, and Obscuratus and Fumus each have a creature entry. Save-point rooms are not named, so the bottle row does not point at a floor.
How the six constraints sit in the achievement list
Classics Never Die is the most common achievement in the launch-window figures, at 36%, and the request is to pick up the iron pipe. The pickup line does not name a room. Exhaust Pipe, at 1.8%, is the later constraint: defeat Fumus with only that pipe. Wrench Queen is the rarest row in the whole list, at 0.2%, and it asks for a completed run that uses only the wrench. Iron and wax is narrower: defeat Obscuratus with only the wrench, at 10.8%. Those four rows are the pipe and wrench set. Fumus and Obscuratus repeat the fight constraint beside the creature name.
One More For The Road, at 9.4%, is drinking Lavendoleum while health is already full. Which room holds the drink is not known. Have You Chosen... Wisely?, at 20.4%, is filling the silver bottle by removing three save points. The three points are not listed. Devora, at 13.1%, is the film-canister set and is not one of these six tools, but it is the other collectible people confuse with the bottle. Open that achievement when the canisters are the goal.
A wrench-only run and a pipe-only Fumus fight are separate checks. Clearing Wrench Queen does not by itself clear Iron and wax, and picking up the pipe for Classics Never Die does not by itself clear Exhaust Pipe. You can equip and swing the wrench during a normal run, and there is a run button. Swinging it once is not the full-game wrench clear. Use the percent column when you want the rarest tool row first: Wrench Queen, then Exhaust Pipe, then the Lavendoleum drink, then the Obscuratus wrench fight, then the silver bottle, then the pipe pickup.
