Live-action cutscenes
Key moments cut to live-action scenes with real actors and practical effects, filmed by an award-winning crew in Argentina. The secrets of the game sit in those cinematics. Play the launch trailer below. It has no chapter names.

What the posts credit
Andrés Borghi is creative director and wrote the screenplay. Tobías Rusjan is project director and programmer. Dakota Lee made the final key art. Those three are the production names attached to the game.
Clara Kovacic plays Julia. Matías Rispau is director of photography and camera. Marcos Berta Studio made the first monster mask. Hugo Caceres, Juan Lopez, Amanda Nara, and Juli Quiroga worked that shoot alongside Borghi and Rispau. A complete cast list, shot lengths, and a scene index have not been published.
If you came looking for a film, a trailer, or live action, this is the filmed side of the game. Pixel screenshots elsewhere are the playable view. The trailer is the moving image of the filmed view. The two stills here are frames from that same world.
The Steam stream
The launch trailer is also an HLS stream, Steam movie 257463818, on app 2121510. That file has no separate mp4. The link under the player opens the stream. If a browser will not play HLS, use the YouTube player, id vvZJ2mffnU4, which is the same launch film.
Five trailers are listed with the game. The launch trailer is the highlighted one. A release-date trailer is on YouTube as A_fQ_gNddbo, with the lines Retro horrors and Real life nightmares. Trailer 2 is ceBQeps0kxk. Trailer 3 is eAOb8cdSdj8. Achievement icons that show ending titles are achievement art, not frames from these films.
Trailer files and credits
Two files carry the launch trailer. YouTube id vvZJ2mffnU4 is the player above. The other file is HLS movie 257463818. Neither file has chapters, a shot list, or actor names. Development and filming took nearly four years before the 16 October 2026 launch.
Borghi directed the creative side and wrote the screenplay. Rusjan programmed the game and directed the project. Lee painted the final key art, and that art is also the art on the physical editions. The pixel team is Attar on main pixel art, El Toreh on concepts, and Pedro Caval on character animation. The filmed scenes use real actors, makeup, and practical effects on a real set. Scene titles and shot lengths are not named. The first definitive shooting days were in April and May 2023.
The two stills are frozen frames of the pixel game beside the filmed trailer. Release day is 16 October 2026, the US launch price is $19.99 after the 20% discount, and the full game is Deck Verified. Ending titles that look like film cards are achievements: SOLVE ET COAGULA, MAGNUM OPUS, VIVUS EX MORTIBUS, and RENUNTIATIO. The first two follow the Relicta choice. The last two are hidden.
What you can check from here
Start with the player if you want the filmed look, then the stills if you want a frozen frame. Launch day is 16 October 2026. The developers are Andrés Borghi and Saibot Studios. The publisher is New Blood Interactive. The credits above name those studio people, not a performer.
The playable half is 8-bit pixel art in the vein of Resident Evil and Silent Hill. At key points the view cuts to a movie, which is the contrast the game is built on. Puzzle order and the Desiderium finale are on the puzzle index. Lacuna and Hermes, the last fights in the known ending split, are with the creatures. There is no scene-by-scene breakdown. What is known is the launch trailer, Clara Kovacic as Julia, and the crew named above. Twenty-five screenshots at 1920 by 1080 show the pixel view.
The launch line is The nightmare begins now. Trailer 3’s line is that you have never dreamed anything like Tenebris Somnia. The filmed inserts put actors, scenery, makeup, special effects, cameras, and lighting on a real set against those 8-bit corridors. The first monster mask is a practical build. Claudio Sagrera designed the logo. Voltaire Musso Rovitti took the portrait of Rusjan and Borghi.
